The Town has contracted with J.H. Lynch & Sons, Inc. of Millbury, MA to reclaim the sections of roadway shown on the below map. Lynch has begun preparing the site with detour and “local traffic only” signage. While the roads will remain open to local traffic during construction, we encourage residents to avoid the work zones whenever possible. Unfortunately, due to the narrow width and alignment of Pine Hill Road, maintaining through traffic will not be possible.
Anticipated Schedule:
Tues. 11/18: Working on Driveway Aprons
Wed. 11/19: Installing the speed humps
Thurs. 11/20: Driveway Aprons
Mon. 11/24 - Wed. 11/26: Edgework on upper section of Pine Hill (No detours)
Tues. 11/25: Pavement Markings
As part of the project, speed humps will be installed as traffic-calming measures between 16 & 19 Pine Hill Road and 89 & 91 Pine Hill Road. Due to limited funding, the middle portion of Pine Hill Road will be deferred for a later phase.
We apologize for the temporary inconvenience but are confident that the taxpayers will be pleased with the final product.
