Southborough Youth and Family Services coordinates financial assistance for several town sponsored programs. 

  • Winter Wishes
    Winter Wishes is a program that assists Southborough families with making the holidays memorable by connecting community donations with families' needs and special gifts. Click here to learn how to donate. 
  • Camp Scholarships
    Through the combined efforts of Friends of the Southborough Youth Commission, SYFS, the local community, and affiliated camp programs, income-eligible Southborough school-age youth are given the opportunity to attend camps during the summer.
  • Recreation RAP Programs
    Families can apply for discounted rates for Southborough Recreation's RAP programs. Learn more here.
  • Emergency Fund
    Financial assistance to residents experiencing financial hardship for situations such as car repair, loss of electricity or heat, medical expenses, etc.

Fuel Assistance
Residents can receive information on energy assistance programs and assistance in completing their application for SMOC of Framingham's Fuel Assistance program. Fuel Assistance is available from November 1st through April 30th annually. Contact our office for more information. 

Referrals
We offer referral and navigation support to residents in need of a specific type of service with an outside agency such as housing, unemployment, or other public assistance programs.
