SAFE (Public Education)

The Southborough Fire Department is dedicated to protecting its residents and visitors through fire education and prevention.

Lieutenant Brittaney Doane leads the charge in making sure our students from preschool to third grade are educated in a variety of safety topics including; Stop, Drop, and Roll, holiday safety, stay low under smoke, and anti-tobacco campaign. We also target our senior population with cooking safety, home safety visits, and anti-tobacco education and support.

Other programs include an introduction to CPR for eighth graders, a dorm safety program being developed for our private schools in the community, Ice Safety and dealing with emergencies (calling 911).

You can also visit us on Facebook to see the programs in more detail when they occur.
